Summer is right around the corner, which means it’s time for our annual partnership with Rise Against Hunger, a non-profit relief organization to end hunger worldwide. Rise Against Hunger provides not only food and services to communities in immediate need but actively works to create sustainable solutions to assist with food insecurity across the globe. In addition, they provide nutritional and agricultural education programs to communities in developing nations. These programs are specific to the individual needs of the countries and help build long-lasting infrastructure that can provide children with the nutrients they need for years to come.
This past weekend, Team TypTap had the pleasure of helping Rise Against Hunger in packaging over 10,000 meals. We assembled an incredible team of over 30 TypTap volunteers who showed up ready to work! We completed the packaging in a record time of only two hours. The meals were rich with vital nutrients needed to grow a healthy body and are set to take flight soon. In the past, our meals have made their way across the Caribbean Sea to countries such as Nicaragua and Haiti. We can’t wait to see what part of the globe they reach this year!
Our sincere gratitude extends to our volunteers for showing up and showing out to make an active difference in the health of nations beyond our own. Your teamwork truly embodies our company’s values. It demonstrates the kindness and dedication we wish to make to lifting each other up and those around us. We would also like to thank the Rise Against Hunger organization for its continued efforts to end world hunger. So far, their movement has reached the lives of over 2.7 million individuals, and we are grateful TypTap makes up a small part of that enormous accomplishment.
